    1,000,000 Scoville Units. A jalepeno is 1000 to 3000.

Work Refrigerator. I made and brought very good lunches. When I made a “lunch”, it was typically for a couple days. Lunch Monday, is meant for dinner, and lunch Tuesday too. This way 3 bags were good for a week.

I had a real problem. My lunches were dissappearing. Checking the trash can, nothing to indicate it was snatched, eaten etc.

After a couple times of this occuring, I am hungry, irritable…the last time, really, really pissed.

My homemade Mediterranean chicken wraps, feta, hummus for a couple days, Tabouli, my black olives. Fruit salad. Even my pickled turnips.

    All. Gone.

Absolutely outraged that someone would take all of my lunch, and eat all of it.

So I decided to make really “delicious” finely diced Ghost peppers (I had to wear gloves, glasses, and a mask with a fan blowing away from me), wrapped in burritos. Not burritos, with Ghost peppers. Diced, carefully concealed with refried beans and cheese. About 5 GP in each burrito.

This was, by far, the hottest meal, I have ever prepared. Boy, am I glad I wasn’t the person that ate a bite of that burrito. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there to witness the sheer agony of 1,000,000 Scoville Unit pepper relish reveal the thief. At least not initially.

Btw. No more problems with lunch tampering or theft. Not one marked, David. And taped closed.

The hottest meal not meant to unleash revenge was a Jambalaya for a Capsacin pepper head. He requested habaneros, half of the volume of the usual sweet green peppers used in the normal recipe. Paul, slipped me a 20 to cover cost. My half, then “his” half was cooked. That was outdoor kitchen time.

Sweating bullets, his skin was shedding tears, he said it was delicious. I thought he looked like he had taken a shower with his clothes on.

The vein in his forehead was humongous, swollen like a single devil’s red lightning bolt.
